Known for his "unique working" style, Ludhiana’s Newly appointed Civil Surgeon Dr.Jasbir Singh Aulakh has imposed a fine of more than Rs. 5 lakh on parking contractor of Civil hospital Parking for over charging. The health department has also warned the parking contractor that if he collect parking fees against the rules in future, his contract can be cancelled. Giving details, Dr Jasbir Singh Aulakh said that in the wake of complaints being made by patients against the local contractor, he, at his own level, sent a medical officer from Ludhiana to park scooter at Civil Hospital.
