I found the best shop for food bargains – bread costs 40p and Walker’s crisps are 75p for 15 packs but there’s a catch
A BARGAIN hunter has shared the best place to get cheap food and people can’t believe the prices.
The savvy shopper revealed she regularly goes to the Company Shop which sells food and household items for cheap.
The Company shop collects surplus stock, items with wrong packaging and items about to go out of date and sells them to its customers for bargain prices.
Lottie Marie shared her bargain shop in a TikTok video online.
She said: “So many bargains from the Company shop tonight! There was so much more in tonight but I didn’t need that much so happy with what I’ve got.”
To start off the bargain hunter found Hovis bread for 40p.
Lottie spotted Milkybar golf yoghurt pots which were going for just 5p.
She said: “Because these are today’s date, 5p there’s loads in.”
Lottie then spotted salad cheese and garlic marinade pots.
She said: “These are 60 p I’m gonna get a couple maybe make a pasta or something out of it.”
“So on the corner yoghurt, it’s six for £1.50 or two or £2.80 and that’s on the Toffee hoop ones and these strawberry shortcake ones.”
Lottie picked up some Fromage frais pouches which were 95p for four, she said she would be giving these to her kids.
She also grabbed some barbeque chicken-style pieces which were 95p.
Next Lottie picked up four Tesco’s sandwiches for 50p each.
She said: “Premade sandwiches are 50p so I’m gonna get cheese and pickle and chicken salad.”
The savvy shopper nabbed chicken bites for 70p and a family-sized cottage pie for £2.70.
Boxes of jaffa cakes were down to 75p, mushrooms were selling for £1.
Lottie added: “Single peppers are 35p I’m gonna grab a couple of those.
Walkers multipacks were going for 50p each or three for 75p.
Lottie explained: “So you get 15 packets of crisps for 75 pence.”
She also found Lotus white KitKats for 30p, and Costa gingerbread biscuits for 50p each.
You can also find discount items in bulk, Lottie spotted a whole box of bourbon creams for £5.
She concluded: “Altogether that whole shop came to £20, so that wasn’t bad at all.
Lottie’s video racked up 830,000 views with people desperate to learn more about the bargain shop.
One user said: “Need the company shop In The midlands.”
