‘Fame has gone to his head’ rant furious Geordie Shore fans as Sam Gowland brands British people ‘miserable’
GEORDIE Shore star Sam Gowland has been blasted by fans after he branded Brits “miserable” while rambling about his Turkey-teeth.
The reality star, 28, laid into the UK and called it “miserable, depressing and boring” after receiving stick online for his veneers.
Despite finding fame on British shows Love Island and Geordie Shore, Sam is now encouraging people to “move abroad” and sign up to a ‘trading scheme’.
Sam launched into his nonsensical tirade while sitting in a cafe in Budapest, having flown straight there from a ski trip in Austria.
Pointing at his Turkey-teeth, he said: “Now I’ll tell you what it is, people only take the p*** out of these veneers when I’m doing videos about the UK telling it like it is.
“It’s the worst place in the world and it’s so depressing, miserable and boring because it makes YOU feel uncomfortable that I’m absolutely correct about the whole set up in the UK.
“You feel trapped there, so the only thing you’ve got to do is mention my veneers because it’s the only thing you think is going to get to you when in hindsight I’m not bothered at all about what you say about my teeth [sic].
“If I was bothered I would do something about them.”
Sam continued: “Life quality abroad is so much better. In England you’re just depressed and freezing cold, you’re stressed and worried about the next bill because all the bills are going through the roof.
“You get no sunshine, even when it’s summer there’s no sunshine.
“I am now in Hungary, I’ve come from a skiing trip to come here to Budapest for Christmas.
“The quality of life here is just so much better. Everything is so much more cheaper; the meals, the drinks, transport. Everything. But it’s better quality.
“In England you get ripped off to the high heavens. You are paying a premium for not a premium service.
“The best thing you can do, and trust me because I’ve been abroad now for seven years, the best thing you can do is move abroad.
“Trust me on that. The UK is absolutely finished.”
Sam finished by encouraging his TikTok followers to click on a link that directs them to a ‘trading scheme’, run by ex Love Islander Jonny Mitchell.
But fans were not impressed, with many accusing Sam of letting fame go to his head.
One commented on Sam’s video: “England kick started his career, without it he wouldn’t be where he is. HUMBLE YOURSELF mr crowns.”
Another added: “Don’t bite the hand that feeds ya.”
A third said: “Never forget where you came from!!”
While someone else asked: “Why is he still talking about his teeth?”
Just last month, the Sam and Jonny were branded “real scammers” after claiming to fans that they’ve made £10million since they appeared on the ITV2 show in 2017.
Jonny and Sam’s representatives were contacted at the time for comment.
Sam showed off his Turkey-teeth in a TikTok video in September.
He gushed over his pearly whites and insisted he doesn’t think anyone would be able to tell they’re “fake”, while boasting that people have been asking him where he “got them done”.
The reality star said in the video, “It’s crazy the amount of people that are saying these are the best veneers they’ve ever seen. Thanks so much.
“But I’m even happier now cos of all the comments and messages I’m getting and people stopping me saying, ‘Where did you get your teeth done?’
“I was a bit nervous when I got them done cos I thought, ‘The last thing I want is to get my veneers done and for them to not look natural.’
“I wanted to get the natural look so that’s why I’ve got them exactly like this. Absolutely perfect.”
He added: “I went to Turkey to get them done, which is probably the best, but you can see the shape and definition… perfect. I don’t think you’d be able to tell they’re fake.”
But his followers were left scratching their heads as they were unsure whether it was a satirical post.
