Emma Stone Keeps it Classic in Black Suede Pumps at ‘The Curse’ Event in New York
Emma Stone attended “The Curse” an all-guild FYC event held on Friday in New York. During the event, Stone was accompanied by her fellow cast members Benny Safdie and Nathan Fielder.
For the event, the “Poor Things” star donned a classic pair of suede pumps. Stone’s footwear included textural black suede uppers that transitioned into triangular knife-like pointed toes coupled with 3 to 4-inch stiletto heels that offered the thespian a subtle and walkable boost in height.
Suede pumps are a favorite of many famed figures including Kate Middleton who can often be found wearing the style in a variety of colors hailing from Gianvito Rossi. Ralph Lauren, Stuart Weitzman, Sam Edelman, Sarah Flint and Marc Fisher are just a few brands that also carry suede pumps in all shades of the rainbow.
Accompanying her neutral footwear, Stone wore a black wool trench coat layered overtop a patent black leather flared top. On the bottom, the “La La Land” actress wore dark wash denim jeans. Rounding out her look, the thespian wore a variety of dainty silver jewelry, offering her look a dazzling finish.
When it comes to footwear, Stone’s style is often versatile and sleek. The “Amazing Spider Man” star often wears pointed-toe pumps and sandals in a range of colors and heights on the red carpet, frequently hailing from Vuitton as well as Jimmy Choo, Aquazzura and Christian Louboutin. Beyond her formal footwear, Stone can be seen off-duty in low-top sneakers from Adidas, Converse and Nike.
“The Curse” is a dark comedy television show directed by Nathan Fielder. The show follows newlyweds Whitney and Asher Siegel as they attempt to bring their vision for eco-conscious housing to the small community of Española, N.M. The couple’s efforts are stifled by an alleged curse. Cast members include Nathan Fielder, Emma Stone, Benny Safdie and Barkhad Abdi, among others.
