‘Habagat’ threatens Luzon, West Visayas

Monsoon rains will affect Luzon and Western Visayas within the next three days, as the southwest monsoon, locally called “hanging habagat,” is being enhanced by a tropical cyclone and a low pressure area (LPA) off the Pacific Ocean.
