State troopers seek info in fatal hit-and-run near Mobile

MOBILE, Ala. (AP) — Alabama state troopers are asking anyone with information about a fatal hit-and-run in south Alabama to come forward. Al.com reports (http://bit.ly/1saM2gZ ) a pedestrian was struck around 11:20 p.m. on Baird Coxwell Road, about five miles south of Mobile. State troopers say 64-year-old Charles E. Robinson was hit and killed by a vehicle that left the scene. Troopers say Robinson was walking on the roadway when he was struck. Anyone with information about the vehicle that hit Robinson is asked to call state troopers.

Prosecutors: Girl, 17, used same gun in 2 Camden shootings

CAMDEN, N.J. (AP) — Authorities say a 17-year-old girl used the same gun in two shootings, including to allegedly kill a 13-year-old boy in New Jersey. Prosecutors said Friday that Casche Alford used a .380-caliber semi-automatic handgun to kill Nathaniel Plummer on Jan. 7 in Camden and also in a non-fatal October shooting.
