Louie Anderson on How His Emmy Win Changed FX Comedy ‘Baskets’

TCA 2017: ‘I’m very demanding now,’ comic jokes of gender-bending role

The standup comic says his surprise win for supporting comic actor last year has boosted FX’s offbeat comedy “Baskets,” where he plays Christine Baskets, the self-obsessed mother to two grown twins struggling with life failures (both played by Zach Galifianakis).

“I’m very demanding now,” Anderson joked to reporters at the Television Critics Association press tour in Pasadena on Thursday.
