TESDA to grant scholarship to 75 Parañaqueños
The Technical Education and Skills Development (TESDA) will grant scholarship to 75 Parañaqueños starting this November in cooperation with the office of 1st District Rep. Edwin Olivarez.
According to Olivarez, the 75 scholars will be given a chance to undergo free training at TESDA for Bread and Pastry Production, Heavy Equipment Operation (forklift), and Bookkeeping.
Olivarez said aside from free training, every scholar will also receive training allowance and others will also have uniform allowance depending on the course.
He also said those who will complete the course will be given free assessment.
“This is a great help to our countrymen, especially to those who lost their jobs due to the pandemic, because these courses will surely be beneficial even to those who want to work abroad,” Olivarez said.
Those who want to take Bread and Pastry Making and Heavy Equipment Operation courses should be 16 to 65 years old, unemployed, not currently studying, and not included or enrolled in any training.
They have to submit three pieces of passport-size photo with collar with name tag and white background, a photocopy of birth certificate, two valid IDs, and marriage certificate if married, and photocopy of High School or College diploma or Form 137.
