PRC releases results for October 2022 Fisheries Professionals board exam
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on Wednesday, Oct. 12, announced that 716 out of 1,966 examinees successfully passed the October 2022 Licensure Examination for Fisheries Professionals.
The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony are yet to be announced, PRC said.
Jean Margaret Gelladuga Badong from Iloilo State College of Fisheries-Main campus and John Rey Fortu Rasgo from the University of the Philippines Visayas in Iloilo City were the top-notchers on the board exam with an average of 86.25 percent.
They were followed in the second spot by Rove Mae Malupay Doogho from Davao del Norte State College with an average score of 86 percent.
The registration for the issuance of a Professional Identification Card and Certificate of Registration will be done online from Nov. 7 to 8, 2022, the commission said.
Instructions for the initial registration are posted on the PRC website.
Board passers who will register must bring the following: “downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, notice of admission (for identification only), 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag), 2 sets of documentary stamps and 1 piece short brown envelope.” Registrants shall personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals, PRC reminded.
The exam, held last Oct. 6 to 7, was given by the Board of Fisheries in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.
“The members of the Board of Fisheries who gave the licensure examination are Westly R. Rosario, Chairman; Catalino R. Dela Cruz, Carlos C. Baylon, Gerald F. Quinitio and Joebert D. Toledo, Members,” PRC added.
