For at least a few hours overnight, owners of Nest products were unable to access their devices via the Nest app or web browsers, according to Nest Support on Twitter. Other devices like Nest Secure and Nest x Yale Locks behaved erratically. The as of yet unexplained issues affected the entire lineup of Nest devices, including thermostats, locks, cameras, doorbells, smoke detectors, and alarms. OnePlus said it’d be making an Avengers-branded limited edition of the OnePlus 6 a while back, and here it is. The Avengers: Infinity War edition features a Kevlar-style patterned back along with a gold Avengers emblem and color-matched mute switch. There's also a new official case molded in the shape of Iron Man’s helmet. Overall it’s a more ambitious effort than the Star Wars OnePlus 5T, which was basically just a white 5T that said “Star Wars” on the back.

Microsoft has announced the Xbox Adaptive Controller, an Xbox controller designed for people with disabilities. The device was leaked earlier this week. It has two large programmable buttons and 19 jacks that can be connected to a range of joysticks, buttons, and switches to make it easier for a wider range of people to play games on Xbox One and Windows 10 PCs.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is investigating a Tesla Model S crash that may have involved the electric car maker’s semi-autonomous Autopilot software, according to Reuters. The crash took place last week in Utah, and photos of the totaled Model S made headlines around the country, despite the driver walking away with only a broken ankle.

The Trump Administration’s plan to hand the International Space Station off to the private sector by 2025 probably won’t work, says a government auditor. It’s unlikely that any commercial companies will be able to take on the enormous costs of operating the ISS within the next six years, the auditor said.

Twitter has long had a strange disdain for third-party Twitter apps, but it’s allowed many of them to pass under the radar for the last several years. That’s starting to change this summer, when Twitter will revoke a key piece of access that developers currently have to the service, replacing it with a new access system that limits what they can do. The changes aren’t going to make third-party Twitter clients useless, but they are going to make the apps somewhat worse.

A Russian accessory maker named Caviar has started selling a solar-powered version of the iPhone X going for $4,500. Caviar is branding the phone the iPhone X “Tesla” and it initially announced its plans back in November, as spotted by AppleInsider.
