Apple has announced another event for the year that’s set to take place at the Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM) on October 30th. It will be the company’s first event held in New York; Apple has traditionally held events in California, but it broke that mold earlier this year with an education-focused iPad event in Chicago in March.

Honestly, who needs reality TV when you have Tesla?

While Elon Musk spent most of Q3 publicly shooting himself in the foot, Tesla managed to get itself to (quarterly) profitability! I love this show! I only wish I saw more of the B plotline about the people who were quietly working behind the scenes to make this happen while Musk beefed with Azealia Banks.

I'm sorry, but the Tesla show is good.

A new $3 billion round of investment led by SoftBank has crowned China’s Bytedance the world’s most valuable startup, Bloomberg reports. Bytedance, the owner of popular karaoke video app TikTok and huge Chinese news aggregator Toutiao, is now valued at $75 billion, which takes it past Uber’s most recent figure of $72 billion.

Samsung will launch three Galaxy S10 models and a long-awaited foldable phone early next year, according to a Bloomberg report that corroborates and adds new details to information separately revealed by analyst Ming-chi Kuo and Korean media earlier in the year.

Faraday Future has received a small lifeline after announcing drastic measures earlier this week to keep the company afloat during a fight with its main investor.
