Studer's rendition, made with pasteurized cow's milk collected from many neighboring small farms, fits that description, although it has enough personality to keep me nibbling long after I should stop. Mostly the cheese smells of warm melted butter and lightly toasted hazelnuts; my mind conjures buttered toast.
