A girl in Rajkot, Gujarat, India, complained to the cybercrime police station that someone had created a fake Instagram account in her name, using her picture as the profile picture. The police blocked the account, and talked to the girl, who said that she had no idea who had done this. The girl also posted a message on her original Instagram account asking her followers not to respond to the messages from the fake account. The police have asked Instagram for information about the fake account.
