Trump, Hannity, Dictator-for-a-Day, and the Constitution of The United States
The recent "Trump-Hannity-Dictator-for-a-day" TV "interview" has become widely noted and much commented upon. This column presents a commentary on it and what Trump really means by "Dictator-for-a-day." Of course provision for such a position is nowhere to be found in the Constitution. But even more importantly, Trump doesn't mean dictator-for-just-one-day. Extending it indefinitely, from that day, is what he does mean.
