ET on November 25 reported that the company had told the labour authorities in Bangalore that it has not sacked any employee, but only let go of those who opted for its voluntary separation programme accepting a severance package. "Amazon assured that going forward in the event of any workforce optimization, Amazon will keep the labour ministry apprised," it said.
