Croatia 0 Belgium 0 LIVE RESULT: Red Devils KNOCKED OUT of World Cup after goalless draw and Croatia make last-16
BELGIUM are out of the World Cup after a 0-0 draw with Croatia, who go through in second place in Group F.
Croatia were denied a penalty early on despite Anthony Taylor adjudging Andrej Kramaric to have been brought down.
However, VAR intervened to determine that there was an offside in the build-up, with the score remaining level.
Romelu Lukaku was brought on for the Red Devils as they looked to grab a winner, and he was involved instantly, heading the ball into the goalkeeper’s arms before striking the post moments later.
The forward was then unable to convert from close range as a cross bounced off his chest to Croatia’s relief as the Red Devils crash out of the World Cup.
