• Take a trip back to Prohibition times at “A Prohibition Afternoon” from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Mac’s at 19 Broadway at 19 Broadway in Fairfax. Some of the day’s festivities include making your own Prohibition-era cocktail, a talk by historian Marcie Miller on Fairfax and bootleggers during the days of Prohibition, photo ops with a vintage car and much more. • Get in the holiday spirit at Mill Valley’s Winterfest from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday in the downtown Mill Valley plaza. The Mill Valley Chamber of Commerce’s 28th annual event will feature a visit by Santa, live music and dance performances, a tree lighting, a giant rainbow slide and other kid-friendly activities.
