Karnataka: Council chairman polls likely during Belagavi session, Basavaraj Horatti’s hopes high

With the winter session of the legislature looming, eight-time MLC Basavaraj Horatti is hopeful BJP will make good on its promise and instal him as chairman of the legislative council. A 10-day session is scheduled to be held in Belagavi from December 19.
