Two persons of Chaunta village, who had been caught smuggling 300g heroin and 1,200 anti-diarrheal tablets, have been awarded 10-year rigorous imprisonment each. The special court also imposed a fine of Rs 1 lakh each on the convicts — Charanjit Singh Channa and Kulwant Singh Kala.
