88-year-old Philip Ali was scammed out of $28,500 by a group of fraudsters pretending to be Royal Canadian Mounted Police officers and a judge. The scammers told Ali he had to pay them large sums of money to ensure his grandson wouldn't be put in jail for drug and weapon charges.
