I liked the appointment of EJ and originially he did well. I liked how he treated the 6 nations with the contempt it deserves (really it is just a competition for England haters) and was only really interested in using it as a training exrecise to prepare for the world cup (unlike Wales who thinks it make them the best team in the world cup to win the 6 nations - yet fail dismally when they meet the big boys in the world cup).

It does seem like we have sort of got a bit stuck though in the last couple of years, I do think we'd have done well under him though in the World Cup as he seems able to get results when it matters.

Onto the replacement though and I have no idea. I do hope we don't go for a safe appoitnment and hope we don't go anywhere near Steve Borthwick, I still can't get rid of the image of him looking absolutely terrified, as captain, during the warm up when we played Wales at their stadium. Wouldn't inspire me 1 bit as a a player. Hope we can find someone who can get the best out of the talented players we have.
