It has been alleged that the smartphone company was trying to export superior quality goods by incorrectly declaring the model of the handsets. Directorate of Revenue Intelligence officials stopped the consignments and on scrutinising the contents, they found a mismatch in the international mobile equipment identity (IMEI) numbers of the handsets in the consignment and the models declared by the company, the people said.
