Whats the difference this year?

Thinking about all the preseason hype, the media and pundits had the Flyers flying high. Starters all returning, more maturity, new talent (Mike who SI already considered him a draft choice), bench support, etc. They had us consensus A10 champs, top 20 nationally, NCAA-bound..
So, yes, injuries and flu bug have hurt, but we arent any better than last year, maybe worse. We struggle to beat the bad teams and cant compete with good teams. Shooting is horrible, assists are way down I suspect, free throws are not great generally, turnovers remain a problem most games.
Even with Mail and Elvis playing, we didnt look good. To a man, except perhaps DH-II, each is not as good as they were last year it seems.
So, Im not trying to be down on the team,but wondering what is going on. We have talent but just playing terrible. Might there be a chemistry problem? Is the effort missing? Are shooting practices not what they should be? Not picking on CAG, but after his personal tragedy, has he lost focus or distracted. Just many questions, no answers. Can we right the ship before A10? Anyone have any inside information or insight.
