The nearly seven-kilometre-long stretch near Kudligi on National Highway-50 appears to have turned into a veritable death trap for wild animals. Speeding vehicles on this stretch of the highway that connects Hosapete and Kudligi in Vijayanagara district pose a very real threat to wild animals that populate the Kudligi Reserve Forest that stretches on either side of the road, all the way from Shivapur to Timmapur.
