Barty awarded Australian sport's highest honor

CANBERRA, Dec. 9 (Xinhua) -- Retired tennis star Ash Barty has been awarded Australian sport's highest individual honor for a second time.

At the annual Sport Australia Hall of Fame event on Thursday night Barty became the third person to win The Don Award - named after cricket great Don Bradman - multiple times.

Entering 2022 as the world No. 1, Barty in January became the first homegrown Australian Open
