Partner thinks I’m cheating because I signed up to Only Fans
DEAR DEIDRE: LIKE many guys my age, I’ve signed up to Only Fans, but my partner acts like I’ve cheated on her.
She wants me to apologise, but I don’t think I’ve done anything wrong.
I’m 28 and she’s 27.
We’ve been together for three years and live together.
Before she learned I watched Only Fans, we were talking about getting engaged. Now we argue all the time, and it’s ruining our relationship.
She says we have a good sex life, so why do I need to look at other women? To her, Only Fans is an online brothel.
To me, it’s just a laugh. I’m not planning to cheat, but I like looking at gorgeous women.
I think she’s being ridiculous. What can I do?

DEIDRE SAYS: You may not be actively cheating, but you’re not taking your partner’s feelings into account.
That is probably upsetting her as much as your use of the site.
Think how you would feel if she was ogling, and possibly messaging, men she thought were “gorgeous”.
You need to talk to her and try to find a way past this. If you can’t, you won’t have a future.
My support pack, Looking After Your Relationship, will give you the tools you need.
