We spoke with Luke Allen, as the midfielder gave us his thoughts on the current season and provided an insight into his private life:

• “I miss my Weetabix!”
• “Every footballer wants to test themselves.”
• “Hopefully, we can get Dartford promoted and have another crack at the National League.”
• “We were allowed to miss a day a week from school to play football.”
• “Remember, it’s a marathon, not a sprint. We need you (the fans) in every game.”
