I’m 71 – people say I should stop wearing ‘inappropriate’ clothes for my age but grandmas are fun too
SOME people think 71 is too old to have fun, but one grandma joined TikTok just to prove them all wrong.
Her fans on the platform agree and say anyone who calls her outfits “inappropriate” is just a hater.
“Grandma Lori” has 195k followers, but unfortunately, that level of fame comes with a number of trolls.
Wearing a checkered bathrobe, along with her trademark curls and lipstick, Lori shared the critical comments she’s received.
“You’re too old…someone get their grandma,” read the comment in one caption. “You should get off TikTok.”
“Stop wearing clothes that are inappropriate,” another critic said.
One person even wrote, “You should stay home and make cookies and babysit.”
Then, Lori threw off her robe and mouthed along to the Eminem song Big Weenie.
“You’re just jealous of me cause you, you just can’t do what I do,” she lip-synched.
Wearing a scoop-neck top, jeans, and a dramatic body chain, Lori definitely didn’t look like an average grandma.
Addressing her trolls, she mouthed, “You walk around and say all kinds of really mean things.”
Lori’s followers were quick to side to with her, and compliment her confident clapback.
One person who loved her outfit said Lori was a “Glam-ma,” not a grandma.
“BRB, gotta pick my jaw up off the floor,” a follower wrote.
Another said, “I strive to be you when I mature into the wisdom ages.”
“Wear what you want,” said one follower who put it as clearly as they could. “We all end up in the same dirt.”
