On February 22 of last year a fireball streaked across the sky of Alberta, Canada. The fireball, which is a meteor nearly bright as the plane Venus, was also visible from British Columbia, Saskatchewan, and Montana. The American Meteor Society (AMS) had received more than 400 reports and more than 100 videos of the bright object at the time.
