ARSENAL defender Pablo Mari has returned to training for Serie A side Monza after being stabbed earlier this year.

One person was killed and five injured after a knifeman went on a rampage in a Milan shopping centre in October, with Mari wounded.

The defender joined in with team exercises and underwent some individual training as he looks to make his return to the pitch.

Elsewhere, Arsenal are leading the race for Leicester City midfielder Youri Tielemans and are said to be in pole position for the Belgian despite interest from Barcelona.
