Maltese central bank adjusts 2022 GDP growth upwards to 6.8 pct

VALLETTA, Dec. 16 (Xinhua) -- Malta's gross domestic product (GDP) is projected to grow by 6.8 percent in 2022, an upward revision of 1.6 percentage points, according to the latest forecast released by the Central Bank of Malta (CBM) on Friday.

The central bank, however, revised GDP growth in 2023 downward by 0.8 percentage points to 3.7 percent.
