Last Game: The Vipers are coming in following a disappointing 4-1 loss in Wenatchee on Tuesday.  Dylan Compton scored the lone goal and Roan Clark stopped 36 shots.  The Vipers penalty kill went 5 of 6 and in minimal opportunities the powerplay went 0 for 2.

Today’s Game:  The Vipers kick off a two-game home weekend and a four game homestand tonight.  This is the fourth of five head-to-head meetings this season.  All three games have been one goal affairs, but the Vipers have yet to come away on the right side of the ledger.  Two of the three games needed shootouts.  The Viper top line of Pakulak, Parks and Milburn have tallied 13 points combined in the three games.

West Kelowna Warriors

GM & Head Coach: Simon Ferguson

2022-23: GP 27 – 15-8-4-0, 3rd Interior Conference

Home: 9-3-0-0

Away: 6-5-4-0

Goals For: 102

Goals Against: 95

Powerplay: 28 for 117 – 23.9% (4th in BCHL)

Penalty Kill: 81 of 108 – 75.0% (14th in BCHL)

Last Game: The Warriors also come into the game with a loss at the Town Toyota Center.  They fell in overtime 5-4 at the end of a grueling road trip.  Felix Caron had two goals while Rylee Hlusiak pitched in with a trio of assists.  Michael Salandra also had a multi point night with 2 assists.  Justin Katz made 29 saves in the overtime loss.

Today’s Game:  The Warriors wrap up four straight away from home tonight.  They were on an unenviable road trip that saw them go through Cranbrook, Trail, and Wenatchee in three straight days.  The Warriors road record has been up and down, but continue to find themselves in tight games away from RLP.  Luke Devlin has a four-game point streak going and Rylee Hlusiak has points in three straight.
