The people of Himachal were unhappy with BJP over four things: lack of government jobs, old pension scheme (OPS), lack of good governance and price rise. They made their choice clear in the four by-polls of 2021 in which BJP lost all seats. Then they got a chance to effect a complete change in the assembly elections.
