Southgate to continue as England coach

LONDON, Dec. 18 (Xinhua) -- Gareth Southgate will continue as England manager until the end of the 2024 European Championships, the Football Association (FA) confirmed on Sunday.

Although Southgate has a contract until the end of that tournament, there had been speculation that he would step down after six years in charge after England lost the World Cup quarterfinal to France.

Speaking to the press after
