Capitol riot panel recommends Donald Trump is prosecuted

The House January 6 committee has urged the Justice Department to bring criminal charges against former US president Donald Trump and his allies, wrapping up its investigation of the violent 2021 Capitol insurrection with what has been called a “roadmap to justice”.
