My boss said my outfit was ‘inappropriate’ for the office holiday party – but I don’t see the issue
AN OFFICE worker has been told by her boss that her outfit for the company’s holiday party was “inappropriate.”
The office hottie, named Katie, didn’t mind – and neither did her TikTok followers.
The woman is a popular online content creator outside of her day job.
She was thrilled to decide on the ideal outfit for her holiday party, even if her coworkers – and boss – disagreed.
Katie teased the skimpy outfit, showing just her crossed legs and pointy black heels before the big reveal.
“When the boss says your dress is inappropriate for the Christmas party,” she wrote in the caption.
Then, she showed the full dress in all its glory.
The micro-mini was a simple black slip that barely covered her chest or thighs. It was easy to see why her officemates didn’t approve.
But Katie was confident her boss would change his mind.
In the next caption, she said the little black dress “will look good on his floor.”
Her followers were quick to support her sartorial choices.
“I think you should be the boss,” one viewer wrote.
They were even more in favor of an alternative dress Katie optioned before deciding on her classic attire.
Wearing a super-short dress that looked like a Santa Claus costume, complete with hat and boots, Katie posed a question.
“Will I get a raise if I wear this to my work’s Christmas party?” she asked.
Her followers were certain the dress would have some effect on the office’s staffing, though maybe not what Katie expected.
“I think a lot of dudes gonna get fired,” one gentleman quipped.
Another man made a crass joke, playing off Katie’s pay scale question.
“You’ll get quite a few raises,” the suggestive comment read. “Have to be a corpse not to.”
