The burghers of the coastal town of Hythe have a history of being strong patriots as 200 French invaders found out in 1293 when were slaughtered by the townsfolk. But the otherwise sleepy town is not the obvious place for a rebellion, or at least not until now as Rishi Sunak is set to find out.
