Orlando City trade Ruan to D.C. United for No. 2 pick

Orlando City SC acquired the No. 2 overall pick in Wednesday's 2023 MLS SuperDraft from D.C. United in exchange for Brazilian defender Ruan.

Ruan, 27, tallied four goals and 15 assists in 101 games (91 starts) over four the past four seasons with the Lions.

He signed a contract extension ahead of the 2022 season that runs through the end of 2023.
