In India, the Bharat Jodo Yatra is a procession of people from different parts of the country traveling to meet Indian political leader Rahul Gandhi. On Thursday, Bhupinder Singh Hooda, the former Chief Minister of Haryana, accused the government of Haryana and the police of creating obstacles in the way of the yatra. He said that the unemployment rate was lowest in Haryana in 2014, the year the BJP came to power, but it is the highest in the country now. Hooda said that when the yatra was passing through the villages in the evening, there was no power supply despite people standing on the roads in the dark. The residents of the village of Bhadas told the Congress workers that the power supply was normal until Tuesday, but on the day of the yatra it was snapped. The former CM stressed that after a big turnout of people in the yatra on the first day in Haryana, the police on Thursday put barricades to stop people from joining the yatra.
