Erode weavers cut down production

Rayon yarn prices have surged in recent weeks, causing many power loom owners to reduce production. The Indian Manmade Yarn Manufacturers Association has stated that a kilogram of rayon now sells for 175 rupees, while it was previously selling for 225 rupees. This has caused unit owners to lose 35 rupees per meter of yarn produced, as well as paying expenses such as loans, wages, and freight charges. The government should take steps to curb the rate hike.
