However, he decided to file a complaint after the video of the assault went viral and his family and friends convinced him to do so. The accused uploaded the video of the assault on Instagram and Facebook, with a warning that "this would happen to those who make negative remarks during our live telecast." The accused ended the post with a slogan, "Jai Rajputana." The police are investigating the girl's claim.
