DEAR DEIDRE: WHY does everyone pick on me, just because I’m shy?
I hate the expression “It’s always the quiet ones” as people think it means if you’re not outgoing, you’re strange.
I’m a 16-year-old boy, and at school, the loud, horrible bullies are popular. They tease me and call me a weirdo.
Even the teachers treat me like I’m an idiot.
I can’t help being shy and I’m a nice person. So why does everyone look down on me?
