The G20 consults and cooperates to more effectively address and govern major issues related to the global economy, including international financial stability and liquidity, climate change action and sustainable development. Crisis and disaster response, peace, security and terrorism and political issues are increasingly covered. It is supported by and seeks to influence, reform and work through the multilateral institutions-the UN, World Bank, IMF and WTO.
