The ministry will also start holding mock drills in hospitals across the country to assess the preparedness to address any surge in Covid cases, with the first one expected to take place on Tuesday with union health minister Mansukh Mandaviya leading it. Mandaviya held a virtual meeting with health ministers from different states on Friday to take stock of the situation.
