I gave my twin daughters unique names – people say they’re the worst they’ve ever heard
IT can be tempting to give twins matching names, and one new mom did that with her daughters — sort of.
But while she was undoubtedly proud of what she came up with, social media users are calling her babies “poor things.”
The unidentified mom shared her birth announcement on Facebook, including side-by-side snaps of her little girls.
In an attempt to coordinate, she gave each a name that starts with the letter K.
Both names are also words — except one is spelled correctly, and the other very much is not.
Spelling aside, when a screenshot of the Facebook post was shared on Reddit, commenters were baffled that the new mama thought she’d chosen well.
“Karizma Faith and Knowledge Marie have made their appearance in this world,” their mom wrote.
“I love you two with all my heart.”
Redditors aren’t so sure her love did them any favors in the name department.
“The award for the worst twin set I have ever seen goes to these ones, poor things,” wrote one.
“II like that they misspelled charisma but spelled knowledge correctly…I feel like that’s too on the nose,” wrote another.
“Karizma is at least name-esque? Sure it’s s**t spelling and what if she’s the opposite of charismatic, but at least it sounds somewhat like a name,” wrote one more.
They added: “Knowledge, on the other hand? It doesn’t sound like a name. It’s not cute. What the actual?”
Yet another suggested the mom’s next set of twins be named Dekteritay and Strength.
