He did so much for the Nats and club soccer in the US, not to mention his time w United, a leader of one of the most dominant teams of its day in any sport. He was great at setting a tone and achieving a desired an organizational identity, brand and ethos.
Met him numerous times back in the day.
He was a good "wingman," too. I remember...
