A chief minister in India spoke on Monday about the need to give new age cybersecurity training to the police, saying that they need to be equipped to investigate cybercrimes. He also said that the government provides conventional training to the police to investigate normal criminal cases, economic offence cases, and other social crimes, but that in this technological age there is a need for updated cyber security training. The chief minister also advised the constable training center to develop itself as one of the model training centers of the country, and assured it to provide all possible support in this regard. A total of 764 jawans, including 260 women, passed out from the center after a one-year of training.
