The Bokaro General Hospital is preparing for the possibility of another Covid19 pandemic. They have prepared infrastructure to deal with the virus, including a 50-bed isolation ward and 18-bed intensive care unit. They also have 22 beds in pediatric care ready. Public relations officer of Bokaro Steel Plant Abhinav Shankar said that a mock drill will be conducted at the hospital on Tuesday following the centers directions. Director incharge of Bokaro Steel Plant Amarendu Prabhakar has put Bokaro management on alert to follow the operational guidelines in view of the sudden spurt in cases.
