Brazil's financial market cuts 2022 inflation forecast
BRASILIA, Dec. 26 (Xinhua) -- Brazil's financial market cut the inflation forecast for 2022 from 5.76 percent to 5.64 percent, the Central Bank of Brazil said Monday.
According to the bank's weekly focus survey of the country's top financial institutions, analysts raised the inflation forecast for 2023 from 5.17 percent to 5.23 percent.
The country's official inflation target is 3.5 percent for this year
