Jamie Redknapp divides fans as he reveals controversial Christmas Day decision
JAMIE Redknapp has divided opinion after he revealed he hired a chef to cook Christmas Day dinner.
The former English footballer shared snaps of the big day with his fans on Instagram.
His festive photos showed his wife Frida Andersson-Lourie and his children posing at the dinner table.
Jamie’s mum and dad Harry and Sandra were also at the star’s house for the celebrations.
But fans were left divided after the Sky Sports pundit revealed how he hired a Michelin star chef to cook Christmas dinner.
Posting the pictures, Jamie said: “Happy Christmas and God Jul. Love from our family. Amazing food @rest_story.”
One fan quickly snapped saying: “Cook your on food ffs! Why be so overly indulgent.”
Another said: “No cost of living crisis here I see.”
But not everyone agreed – with one fan branding those complaining as “jealous”.
One said: “These comments… some people are just jealous. Jamie isnt responsible for costing of living!!”
Another posted: “Great family pictures, for all the haters saying negative stuff these days there’s always somebody to upset.”
“There’s a lot of jealous haters in these comments,” added another fan in defence.
Jamie, 49, recently gave fans a glimpse inside his Christmassy home.
He worked out on the stairs of his huge home and revealed a stunning wreath winding around the bannister.
In the background stood a very impressive Christmas tree decorated to perfection.
The star lives in a Surrey mansion with his stunning wife Frida Andersson, who he married last year.
Affording fans a look inside, there’s wooden floorboards and panelling around the hallway and lounge, giving it a very cosy vibe.
